Urgent Response from Minister Following Tragic Train Accident in Suez

Dr. Maya Morsi, Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity, is closely monitoring the aftermath of a tragic train collision involving a vehicle on the Suez-Ismailia line in the Al-Janain area of Suez Governorate. The incident resulted in multiple fatalities, including five women, a man driving the car, and two children, all passengers in the vehicle.

The Minister has instructed the head of the Central Administration for Social Protection to coordinate with the Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate in Suez and the Egyptian Red Crescent’s relief team to provide immediate aid and necessary interventions.

Dr. Morsi extends her heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, praying for their patience during this difficult time and wishing for a swift recovery for those injured. She has also directed that appropriate measures be taken regarding the families affected by this tragedy.
