Hezbollah Targets Israeli Military Vehicle in Tyre Harfa, Reports Casualties

Hezbollah announced today that it targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tyre Harfa using Ababil suicide drones. The group also reported that it engaged an Israeli unit stationed in a building in the town of Shama.

New Developments in the Lebanese Conflict

In a statement, Hezbollah confirmed that it achieved confirmed hits while repelling an advance by the Israeli army towards the town of Majdal Zoun. The group’s members observed an Israeli force consisting of 12 armored vehicles moving from Shama under heavy fire cover. In response, Hezbollah launched repeated rocket fire, forcing the Israeli forces to retreat.

Direct Hits on Merkava Tanks

In the early hours of this morning, the Israeli force attempted to advance again towards Majdal Zoun, but Hezbollah fighters ambushed them and engaged with light and medium weapons, resulting in the destruction of two Merkava tanks. Additionally, Hezbollah’s artillery conducted rocket strikes on the Israeli force, compelling them to withdraw towards Tyre Harfa.

During their retreat, Hezbollah members detonated an explosive device against a military vehicle, causing direct damage and destruction.

For its part, the Israeli army announced the destruction of five launch pads that it claimed Hezbollah used to fire shells at its troops in southern Lebanon. The army also reported attacking a Hezbollah headquarters and militants near its forces.

Ongoing Israeli Airstrikes

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that airstrikes targeting the town of Shihabi resulted in injuries near a newly established point for the Health Authority team. Additionally, Israeli aircraft targeted the towns of Yater and Kafrdounin, along with another strike on Maroub and Taffahata.
