Hani Shakir’s Official Page Commemorates His Legacy 40 Days After His Passing

The official page of the late artist Hani Shakir commemorated the 40th day since his passing with a heartfelt post on social media, offering prayers for his mercy and forgiveness.

The post included a prayer that read: “O Allah, on the occasion of the 40th day since his departure, we ask You to grant him vast mercy, forgive his sins, replace his bad deeds with good ones, and make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise. O Allah, ease his solitude, illuminate his resting place, and open for him the doors of Your mercy and pleasure. O Allah, make what he endured a means of expiation and elevation for him.”.

Hani Shakir passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 73 after battling illness and deteriorating health in recent times. He was receiving treatment in a hospital in Paris before he succumbed to his condition.
